MOSCOW / RankWire.AI / – In Vladivostok during the first half of 2026, Russia’s non-resource non-energy industrial exports increased to $58.8 billion, boosted by higher shipments of chemical goods, metallurgy, and light industry products. The Russian Federation Minister Anton Alikhanov confirmed these trade figures during briefings held alongside the Eastern Economic Forum. This trade volume positions the country on course to reach its annual goal of $116.95 billion in manufactured exports, which forms a key part of Moscow’s broader target of $155.25 billion for non-energy trade in 2026.

According to sectoral data provided by state trade planners, mineral and chemical fertilizers emerged as the leading drivers of growth across international markets. Additionally, shipments of precious metals, pharmaceuticals, perfumes, and specialized cosmetics showed positive trends, broadening Russia’s commercial presence in non-traditional markets across Asia, Eurasia, and the Middle East. Officials also highlighted that regional export support centers, operated by the ministry, have been fully integrated into unified operational networks with the Russian Export Center to enhance logistics processes for regional manufacturers.

The mid-year trade report follows an 11% rise in non-resource non-energy exports during the previous annual cycle. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin’s government emphasized that ongoing economic initiatives aim to establish Russia as a reliable supplier of high-tech and industrial products, despite ongoing international trade restrictions. Russia non-resource industrial exports reach $58.8 billion as federal trade agencies align national development targets with long-term infrastructure and manufacturing investment models.

At the 2026 Eastern Economic Forum, held at the Far Eastern Federal University under the theme of regional economic development, key trade priorities for the upcoming period were outlined. Minister Alikhanov reaffirmed that federal support programs are operating within the parameters set under national development strategies. Officials aim to increase total non-energy trade volumes by 66% over six years compared to 2023 benchmarks.

Unified Export Support System Boosts Regional Business Outreach

Representatives from the trade ministry highlighted the expansion of commercial exchanges with member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and Eurasian Economic Union. Russia’s non-resource industrial exports reach $58.8 billion, while domestic online retail platforms are growing cross-border e-commerce activities in regional logistics hubs. Deliveries of specialized equipment for healthcare and logistics infrastructure continue to emerge as new growth segments within bilateral trade agreements.

Federal trade authorities and regional export agencies will continue monitoring industrial shipment data through the second half of 2026. Finalized annual export figures and trade balance reports by sector will be published following the close of the fourth-quarter reporting periods. Official information on national export targets and trade infrastructure investments remains available via government portals.
